Dr. Rajjoub is a board-certified ophthalmologist specialized in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Her clinical interests include eyelid malposition (ptosis, entropion, ectropion), tear duct surgery, orbital diseases, reconstruction following Mohs’ surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive eyelid and eyebrow surgery, eye-socket reconstruction, thyroid eye disease, as well as eyelid and facial spasms. Dr. Rajjoub sees both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Rajjoub graduated from the prestigious Seven-Year Dual B.A./M.D. Program at The George Washington University. She graduated magna cum laude and continued her education to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and then went on to complete an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. At the University of Maryland Medical Center, she received the Intern of the Year Award, and at the University of Minnesota she received the Fellow Research Award from the Department of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Rajjoub is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Editor of the American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports, Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, as well as the Syrian American Medical Society.
